No debit/credit card or personal financial information is ever submitted or stored on Sage and Moon since we use a secure PayPal shopping cart that handles all payments.

We use print-on-demand and drop-shipping services around the world to provide unique and high-quality products for our visitors. When you purchase such products from our shop, we securely collect and share certain personal data (name and shipping address) with our trusted POD and drop-shipping service providers to process, fulfill, and ship your order to you.
2) sending out email newsletters/communicating via email

For Sage and Moon, Google does not collect Internet Protocol Addresses (“IP” Addresses); IP Addresses are anonymized.
Google Analytics collects certain non-personal information about your location (country and city), equipment used to access Sage and Moon, browsing history, the pages you visit, traffic patterns, and other general patterns related to your use of Sage and Moon. This information is used to improve the performance and use of Sage and Moon and to further improve Sage and Moon’s content, products and services to you.
User data collected by Google Analytics is automatically deleted after 14 months.

Jetpack (Privacy Policy)

Jetpack Protect
Data Used: In order to check login activity and potentially block fraudulent attempts, the following information is used: attempting user’s IP address, attempting user’s email address/username (i.e. according to the value they were attempting to use during the login process), and all IP-related HTTP headers attached to the attempting user.
Activity Tracked: Failed login attempts (these include IP address and user agent). We also set a cookie (jpp_math_pass) for 1 day to remember if/when a user has successfully completed a math captcha to prove that they’re a real human. Learn more about this cookie.
Data Synced: Failed login attempts, which contain the user’s IP address, attempted username or email address, and user agent information.
Askimet (Privacy Policy)
Askimet helps keep our comment/review sections clean and free of bots and unwanted spam. Data is only collected by Askimet to perform these security measures and is deleted from their databases anywhere from 14 to 90 days. WooCommerce Shipping & Tax
Data Used: For payments with PayPal: purchase total, currency, billing information. For taxes: the value of goods in the cart, value of shipping, destination address. For checkout rates: destination address, purchased product IDs, dimensions, weight, and quantities. For shipping labels: customer’s name, address as well as the dimensions, weight, and quantities of purchased products.
Data Synced: For payments, we send the purchase total, currency, and customer’s billing information to the respective payment processor. For automated taxes we send the value of goods in the cart, the value of shipping, and the destination address to TaxJar. WooCommerce & PayPal
Sage and Moon uses WooCommerce PayPal Checkout to process payments. In order to process payments, certain information is shared with PayPal, such as:

• Unique payment identifier

PayPal Checkout
By default, when you make a purchase on Sage and Moon with PayPal Checkout, WooCommerce retains:
• What products a customer ordered and when
• Name, e-mail address, and phone number provided by the customer
• Billing (and optionally: shipping) address entered by the customer
• A note about the payment method used by the customer
This information is stored by Sage and Moon and retained no longer than 3 years for the completion of orders, tax, and accounting purposes.
MailChimp (Privacy Policy)
We use the email marketing provider MailChimp to communicate and provide email newsletters to subscribers. Personal information such as name and email address is collected and used by Sage and Moon for these purposes as long as the user is subscribed. When a user unsubscribes, we delete their personal data from MailChimp.
By clicking any “Subscribe” button on our opt-in newsletter forms, a visitor expressly consents to the collection and use of their data for communication via email/newsletter purposes. Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time; opt-out or unsubscribe options are available at the end of every newsletter.
